Role of NTC Temperature Sensor in Thermostatic Bathtub Temperature Control System

Thermostatic bathtub has very high requirements for water temperature stability and user safety. By using the negative correlation between resistance value and temperature of EXSENSE Electronics‘ NTC temperature sensor, real-time monitoring of water temperature can be achieved. With the help of NTC temperature sensor, thermostatic bathtub can significantly enhance the user bathing experience, while maintaining a constant water temperature prevents accidents such as burn of user.
After the NTC temperature sensors collect temperature data, the bathtub’s control module converts them into identifiable electrical signals through relevant algorithms, providing key temperature information for subsequent heating or cooling operations. To ensure the accurate measurement of the NTC temperature sensors, they are generally installed in the following locations:
1. Main circulation pipe outlet of the thermostatic bathtub: To monitor whether the outlet water temperature matches the preset temperature of the user, providing accurate temperature information for control module adjustments.
2. Heating module: To monitor the operating junction temperature of the component and prevent local overheating or abnormal heating that could cause safety incidents.
Specifically, when the water temperature of the bathtub changes, the resistance value of the EXSENSE temperature sensor will change accordingly. After signal processing by the control module, the resistance value is converted into a temperature value and transmitted to the display panel, allowing users to clearly know the exact water temperature in the bathtub.
EXSENSE thermostatic bathtub NTC temperature sensor is highly sensitive and respond promptly to fluctuations in water temperature, ensuring that the water temperature remains within the set range and enhancing the stability of the bathtub operation. Once the water temperature exceeds the safe range, the NTCs quickly sends a signal to the bathtub control system, which immediately takes protective measures, such as stopping heating or adjusting the water temperature, effectively preventing discomfort or safety hazards caused by water that is too hot or too cold. Additionally, considering the high-temperature and high-humidity environment of a bathtub, the NTCs are strictly designed according to the IP68 waterproof standard and are resistant to acidic and alkaline corrosion. This design allows the NTC temperature sensors to measure temperature reliably in complex conditions, ensuring normal operation of the thermostatic bathtub and reducing the risk of temperature accidents.
EXSENSE Electronics NTC sensor, as the "cornerstone" of high-accuracy water temperature monitoring for thermostatic bathtub, performs excellently in both performance and reliability. The thermostatic bathtub NTC temperature sensor undergos strict quality testing and long-term practical application validation of EXSENSE, allowing it to operate stably in harsh temperature environments and providing efficient water temperature monitoring for thermostatic bathtub.
